Danny's Beauty School offers expert cosmetology training. With our focus on experience and practice, you will gain the knowledge and confidence to pass the Texas State Board Cosmetology Licensing Exam. More importantly, you will gain the skills and experience to work in a professional salon.

Cosmetology courses require 1,000 hours, which can take approximately 8 to 16 months to complete, depending on the class schedule selected.


 

Cosmetology Course Description
You will learn color, cut and hairstyles, you will be immersed in the best theories and practices of cosmetology:
  • Business skills
  • Safety regulations
  • Sanitation standards
  • Customer Relations
  • Ethics
  • Independence.
Class Format and Instruction
Classes begin in the classroom and are then refined through a mix of clinical activities. These include mannequin work, model work, and customer service under the support and coaching of our instructors. Hands-on experience qualifies you for independent work in cosmetology.

Courses Registration and Time
  • Cosmetology (Hair, nails, facial, etc.)
  • Requires 1000 Hrs, full or part time. Complete in 6 months (40hrs/week)
  • Finished in 9 months (30hrs/week) finished in 13 months (20hrs/week).

Cosmetology Program Curriculum
The subjects required in hair care are completed with the minimum hours of instruction in theory and practical operations for each service; Hairdressing the subject of hair cutting shall include, but not be limited to, the following techniques and procedures: hair analysis, shampoo, hot curling irons and hair drying styling.
The subject of hair coloring and bleaching should include, but is not limited to, the following techniques and procedures (including also the use of semi-permanent, demi-permanent and permanent colors): analysis, predisposition testing, patch and strand testing, hair safety precautions, mixing formula, dyeing, bleaching, highlights, streaks, shades and the use of dye removers.
